I met up with Amber and Graham for their engagement session in the middle of all the ‘June gloom” that had taken over So Cal. We were actually a bit worried it may rain on us but it all worked out wonderfully. Despite their nerves of being in front of the camera Amber and Graham were awesome and worked it for me.

Met up with Jeff and Fabiola on Wed evening….totally pumped to go to Malibu Creek to shoot some rockin’ engagement portraits…IN the creek. We get there, and find that they are filming a movie there. No big deal though, its a large park, we should be fine….right?? WRONG! There were movie crew and rangers all over the place and as we were walking, well sort of hiking, to the rock pool we were told by a ranger that we were not allowed to shoot at the park without a permit! I was totally shocked! I checked their website before going on a previous session and there was no mention of needing a permit, in fact I even told the girl at the front gate (who graciously took our $8 to park there) what we were there for and she didnt say a word. Anyways…thats enough pouting from me I suppose . After basically getting kicked out of the creek we decided to hit Adamson House and the beach. Lucky for me Jeff and Fabiola are awesome and rocked the session even if we didnt get to shoot where originally intended.
