I had the amazing pleasure of attending a shootshop this week with the magical team of nate and jaclyn kaiser of the image is found. I have been religiously stalking….errr I mean, following their blog for some time now. When they announced their most recent shootshop date I just KNEW I HAD to go and let me tell you I am so happy that I did. Nate is wonderfully candid, hilarious and just an overall genuine guy, and his dear wife Jaclyn is equally as wonderful, genuine and honestly just one of those people that is such a pleasure to be around. Aside from their overall awesomeness, they really gave so much of themselves to all of us and really helped me ‘see the light’ on so many levels. The information I left with is invaluable. For any of you out there considering this workshop…its a MUST! You would be a fool to miss it. And, not only will you gain some amazing knowledge and inspiration from these two but you will learn a whole new slew of adjectives I like to call ‘nate-isms’.
Anyways…here are a few snaps I captured in between all the nate-isms, sound effects, and overall awesomeness that is the image is found.
Just before we got down to biz and actually got to watch nate shoot, he was sure to steal some shots of his beautiful wife jaclyn. Seen here in the front is the amazing nate + jaclyn, and behind them from left to right is Robert, Whitney, Sabine, Shari, Jonilyn and the beautiful models, Rachel and Andy
this was one of the MANY funny moments of the day. As we were watching nate work his magic, this group of skateboarders came up and requested they too be in the pictures. Nate of course gave them the go ahead…although we think the little guy sitting next to Rachel was a little more interested than just being in the image, as he insisted he needed to ‘sit by the girl’…a little ladies man in the making…LOL.
this is about as far away as you will see nate shoot
BAM!! This is where nate really shoots from…nice and up close and personal.
work it nate!
