Introducing Baby "E"

Let me start by saying that most newborns I photograph dont always sleep ever so sweetly throughout their session.  Usually we take several breaks, some to feed, some to cuddle with mom and dad, etc.  But baby ‘E’ was quite the sleeper and ohhh how I loved iticon smile Introducing Baby "E"  She slept amazingly well allowing me to move her and squish her up as much as I wanted and also woke up for a little while to let us get a few shots of her beautiful eyes!

And of course, heres a sneak peek from our session.  Look how precious this little girl is!!

I've been a BAD blogger

The past few weeks I have been a really bad blogger….icon sad I've been a BAD blogger  Although in my defense I have been so very busy!  My mom who normally watches my little one a few days a week for me was out of town for just over a week which threw a loop in my session and editing schedule.  So I basically took an entire week off of shooting and editing while spending some quality time with my daughter.  In addition, I am getting ready for my first bridal fair booth.  And, I am uber excited that I am heading out to San Diego tomorrow to attend a workshop (www.theimageisfound.com) with some FABULOUS photographers that I absolutly LOVE!  I am so excited to spend some time with them and hope to come home wonderfully inspiredicon smile I've been a BAD blogger

I have however had many sessions over the past week and a half and KNOW my clients are patiently awaiting their sneak peeks to make it to the blog.   To be sure to do this right, I will create a few new posts with some sneak peeks for you all.

Thanks everyone for bearing with my bad bad blogging the past few weeks!

xoxo – Charise!

Such a happy little guy

I received an email recently from Sindy asking about recreating a portrait as a gift for her husband.  When her oldest son was 5  months old she had a beautiful portrait taken of the two of them together and gave it as a very special gift to her husband.  Well, now that Sindy and her husband have another little guy she wanted to recreate the same portrait with her younger son to give to her husband as yet another very special gift.  So, Sindy and her little cutie pie came to the Photography By Charise studio to do this for him.  Whenever I have someone wanting to recreate something with a child it always makes me a tad nervous because lets be honest, you never know what your going to get from a little one….sometimes they just aren’t in the mood for portraits ans sometimes they just have their own idea of how the portrait should look ;).  However, as soon as Sindy and her son walked into my studio and that little guy of hers looked up at me with a big, sweet grin, I just knew things were going to be great and that we would be able to recreate that portrait for her.  Honestly…he has got to be one of the happiest little guys I have seen in a long time, AND he is simply adorable to boot!

Here is a shot from the recreated portrait
