I adore all of the couples that I am given the opportunity to photograph, and Megan and Eric are no different. The wedding of Eric and Megan took place at The Abbey in San Diego, CA and definitely ranks at the top of my favorite weddings to photograph list. Not only did Eric and Megan have a beautiful wedding but it was also jam packed with love and fun! Eric and Megan are one of those couples that just radiate love. They are so in to each other and so in love it literally makes you smile every time you look at them. AND, they are both super fun and awesome to be around.
The girls started their day off at a great vacation rental home where the very talented Melissa of Melissa Rae & Co. took care of the makeup for all of the girls, and Jeanine of Maravilla’s Hair Studio in Encinitas took care of the hair.
Megan’s dad getting his first look at his beautiful daughter on her wedding day. I just love the relationship and emotion here.
Meanwhile the my friend and fellow Photographer Melissa McClure met up with the boys at the Sheraton where they were getting ready.
Eric and Megan chose to see each other before their wedding. I can not tell you how much I LOVE when my couples choose to do a first glance prior to the wedding. It really allows the couple to enjoy their wedding day on a different level. There is no rushing around, we are not working on a tight time frame, the couple gets to enjoy their cocktail hour, AND we have ample time to capture some great images of the couple on their big day.
The ‘First Glance’

Eric and Megan, thank you so much for allowing me to be such a special part of your day and for my beautiful new Tiffany Business Card case (you really shouldnt have). I can’t tell you enough how much your thoughtfulness and generosity means to me. I wish you both the very best that life can offer and hope you are having an amazing time in Hawaii.
And of course a big huge thank you to Melissa McClure for coming out to second shoot this wedding with me. You rock Melissa and I am so glad that we had the chance to shoot together!
