As her Birthday was approaching we started asking her…so what kind of party do you want to have this year? We fully expected the response to be a princess party of some sort, but instead she responded with ‘Angry Birds!’. ‘Wait…not a princess party?’ we said. ‘Nope! Angry Birds!!!’. So we waited a few days, asked again…still the same response, and again a few days later, still requesting Angry Birds. Not that an Angry Bird’s party was a bad thing, but I knew that it would mean lots of creativity and lots of crafting in my future since Angry Bird’s hasn’t hit the party store scene.
Her celebration started with her annual Birthday Disneyland trip. This year we hit the Trick-or-Treat event the first night….it was the first time we did this and it was awesome! She got to get dressed up as Ariel, get on her favorite rides AND do some trick-or-treating!! Win/Win for the kiddo!! This first photo cracks me up because it looks like she is the only one on Main Street!! Not sure how our timing worked out so well but we were for sure not the only people on Main Street at the time, lol.
The next morning we got up and headed over to the park packing in 6, yes SIX rides on the new Little Mermaid ride, and topped it off with getting to meet Ariel!! Someone was in heaven!!!
Her future husband came out to help celebrate with her as well…
After a few days at Disneyland we came home and got ready for the big party![]()
We did lots of crafting, cutting and creating to make her Angry Birds party come to life, but I think it all worked out fabulously and one thing is for sure…the kid’s had TONS of fun, and that is what it is all about!
This is the life sized Angry Birds set up we made. My husband brought home a bunch of boxes and spray painted them, and I painted a bunch of rubber ball’s to look like the green pigs, and the different birds. Then we added a homemade sling shot…and voila! Life sized Angry Birds game
This is about the time I stopped being a photographer…

Ohh and a little face painting fun for the kiddos as well. We hired Paige’s Magical Face Painting for face painting and could not have been happier…she was SUCH a trooper, she painted over 35 kiddos faces/arms and did an awesome job on all of them!!
We also set up my photobooth for a little extra fun for the kiddos…..here is just SOME of the craziness and cuteness![]()
The invites and some of the paper decor stuff were ordered from Etsy seller ‘InviteYall’. Others were created by me and a few others I found using trust old google. I can’t seem to find the link to the Birds I used to make the candy bar bags.
Candy Bar was done by me
(yes, I hand dipped and made the “red bird” chocolate covered oreo’s).

But anyway, LOVE the party decorations and you did an incredible job on the treat table. Wow!! And the lifesize game…so much fun! She is going to cherish those memories!
