What an amazing few days in Vegas! As I mentioned previously I was in Vegas this past week for the WPPI tradeshow and convention. It was an awesome week of learning, being inspired, hanging with some great friends, making some new friends, celebrating and of course shooting! I came home feeling refreshed, inspired and with a new outlook on many aspects of my life in general as well as my life as a photographer. I’m not sure what more I can say other than it absolutely ROCKED!
On Tuesday, I got together with 30-40 other photographers at the Neon Boneyard to do some shooting. I am so thrilled to have been able to visit the Boneyard as they are working on turning it into a Museum so it wont be too long before you will no longer be able to get nice and close to all the old neon signs and wander the yard as we were able to. From what I understand everything will soon be roped off so you can look, but you certainly cant touch.
Not only did I have a great time shooting while we were at the boneyard but I had an even better time just hanging with my photographer friends…we really had a blast!
